David Timmis. After a lifetime of working in the two-dimensional world I had a profound desire to explore the third. So it’s goodbye 2d imagery (except for here of course). Hello to chunks, blocks and slabs of wood. Hello to sharp tools, sore, bleeding hands and a feeling of exhilaration not experienced for a long time. Hello to profanities, thankfully decreasing as the cuts become fewer and the mistakes less frequent.

I focus primarily on making small, useful and beautiful objects. Most are one-offs, but occasionally I produce short runs. Work is generally through commissions, however, I am shortly going to make some objects available through an online shop.
